Between 60% and 80% of menopausal women suffer from vaginal dryness, related to the drop in estrogen levels in their body
This condition can also affect women in perimenopause, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and women taking birth control pills or other medications. It's not just a matter of comfort. Vaginal dryness makes their daily lives painful
This issue is completely underestimated and often ignored. It's rarely discussed, leaving women to cope with their pain alone. Vaginal dryness also increases the risk of urinary infections, as bacteria are now able to attach to the tissues
There are solutions to remedy: hormonal treatment, external and internal care, and lubricants. Avoid any perfumed cleansers and vaginal douches. Instead, use a gentle cleanser and suitable products with a pH between 3.8 and 4.5
On a daily basis, we recommend:
- our | Shower oil | or | Rich Shampoo | (particularly recommended if you suffer from a bacterial imbalance) as cleanser
- our | Sweet Almond oil | as care (external use only)
It's essential to talk to your doctor about it. And above all, please share your experience. The more of us who talk about it, the better
Take care
