Equality

The 8th March reminds me how much we should cherish and protect women's rights, but also how much we should strive for change

Women gained the right to vote in France in 1944. Swiss women had to wait until 1971 to obtain it. In July 1965, married women in France could finally open a bank account in their own name

In 1911, Anna Rogstad became the first female member of parliament. She was Norwegian. Having women in power no longer surprises anyone in Norway or in the other Nordic countries. It has long been part of their political landscape. Equality between men and women is the norm. 70% of men take paternity leave

I am always amazed that equality is still a topic of discussion. What need do we have to dominate others? Why should a man have different rights and duties than a woman?
